Learn how to be shot.

Step onto a fully lit set in Hoxton and master your screen craft with cinema-quality cameras and expert coaching from a working Cinematographer and a professional actor. This isn't acting class — you already know how to act. This is about what happens when the cameras are real, the lights are on, and none of it feels familiar.

🎬

★ Frequently asked questions

When will I get my script?

At least 3 days before class — enough time to be off-book and camera-ready.

Do I need to have Spotlight?

It helps us give you a script that complements you, but it's not required. If you don't have any materials we'll provide a script that works for where you are.

What happens in class?

You'll get a technical rundown of your scene, then we go for a take. You'll receive direction, run it again, get notes, and come back for a final take later in the session.

How many people will I be on camera with?

You start with a one-shot. If someone else in the class has the opposite character and we think you'd benefit from a two-shot, we'll go for it.

Will I get my footage?

Yes — within 48 hours. You'll have one week to download it before it's deleted.
